Another brilliant weekend of sport is here 🌍 The Commonwealth Games continue from opening across both days, before Sunday's action features the Hungarian Grand Prix at 2pm 🏎️ followed by the Tour de France finale from 2:30pm. The World Matchplay reaches its climax too, with the semi finals on Saturday and the final on Sunday, both live from 8pm 🎯 Join us for a weekend packed with sporting drama 🍻

As it stands, we now have walk-in availability only on Friday and Saturday. 🎤 Faz's Quiz tonight is fully booked, but there's still room in the pub if you'd like to join us for walk-in drinks. 🎶 Saturday is now walk-ins only, and we recommend getting down early as it's set to be another busy one. We'll also have live music from Jim McAnulty, so come along and help us make this final Saturday one to remember. As we prepare to close the doors on our time here this Sunday, it's hard to put into words just how grateful we are. Our time here has never just been about the building or what happens behind the bar. It's always been about the people. The friendships, the laughter, the celebrations, the conversations, and the incredible sense of community that has filled these walls over the years. There are so many people we'd like to thank. To Olivia and Davie – thank you for hosting our quiz over the years. We truly couldn't have asked for better people or better quiz masters. You've brought so much fun, laughter and friendly competition to our pub, and Monday nights simply wouldn't have been the same without you. To the boys in the Scooter Club – thank you for continuing to choose us as the home for your meetings over the years. It has been a pleasure to welcome you through our doors time and time again. To our Poker Club – thank you for allowing us to host your nights. We've loved being part of so many evenings filled with great company, good humour and a bit of healthy competition. To our Book Club – thank you for choosing us as your meeting place. We've been so proud to watch the group grow over the years and have been delighted to host you on your journey. To every single one of our incredibly talented entertainers who have graced our stage over the years – thank you for filling our pub with music, laughter and unforgettable nights. A very special shout-out goes to Faz. What you've created with our Friday nights has been nothing short of special, and we're so grateful for everything you've brought to our pub. To every member of staff, every helper and every volunteer who has been part of our journey over the years – thank you. Quite simply, we wouldn't be who we are without you. Your hard work, kindness and dedication have made this place what it is, and we'll always be grateful. And finally, to our wonderful community – thank you for your continued and tireless support throughout the years. Whether you popped in once a week or once a year, celebrated life's biggest moments with us, or simply called in for a pint and a chat, you've made this place feel like home. We're truly honoured to have played even a small part in this community, and we'll carry those memories with us forever. Our final day will be this Sunday, and we hope to see as many of you as possible over the weekend as we celebrate everything this pub has meant to so many. Join us this Saturday for our Goodbye Party as we raise one last glass together, share some stories, enjoy some fantastic entertainment, and give this place the send-off it deserves.
